Home!

Home!
What a great word~
Surrounded by and loved on by family, friends and the familiar ~
Thank you, Lord!

That's a map of Haiti on the frig!
Kids wearing Haiti-made bracelets, now carrying bags made on LaGonave, having Haitian flags hung in bedrooms.   Moms will be pounding spices and herbs in mortar and pestles bought in the market in Anse-a-Galets and using baskets and hot mats made by a pastor on the island.
The frig sports pictures of family-supported school children and of our mission family members.

Haiti will be on our minds!

Most of the 19 kids and grands around the counter for New Year's Eve breakfast!

And, here we are in 2013.  Many thanks to those who have followed us on this Haiti adventure - who have prayed for us - who have contributed to the Wesleyan Institute of English Language Studies and our English and computer skills classes.

It has been a GREAT year in which we have seen God's faithfulness over and over again.  And, in which we have fallen in love with the Haitian people.

We are thankful for being at home once again and are settling back into life here.

We are anticipating several weeks in Haiti this spring, Lord willing, to offer short courses in English and  computer skills, to provide a bridge to next fall's classes and new teachers.

That is our current prayer - that there will be teachers to continue the work that has been done this year. Won't you join us in this prayer?

Once again - we are grateful for YOU!
Happy New Year!
